Background:
In the dawning ages of known Mithrashiel, the northern lands of Estarc had been graced by the presence of the goddess Estara through her heralds, the Seven Pillars – something that hadn’t been witnessed by mortal eyes for centuries. As a sign of peace and trust, the King Sigfur of Duskenfell had honored Estara with an allegiance, which sent an uproar of emotions and discussion throughout the known world.
During this time, a powerful unifying alliance was about to be forged through the marriage between Prince Matthigan of Amber, Kell and Princess Linnaea of Duskenfell. As a token of dedication and gratitude to Linnaea and King Sigfur, Matthigan had set out find a gift worthy of the union.
Matthigan’s journey took him and his father, King Ohngreir, deep into the Anthem Sea, where things had taken an unexpected turn. By all surviving accounts and rumors, whatever Matthigan had found led him and his crew to their demise. With the future now in question, the balance of all Mithrashiel hangs upon the edge of a knife as the eyes of the world lay on the Amber King as he pursues the truth behind his son’s death.
Premise:
With the world on high geopolitical tension in the wake of Prince Matthigan’s death, King Sigfur of Duskenfell has summoned his family and trusted voices. There has been no word from his youngest daughter, Nyera. Worried for her safety, he entrusts his son, Prince Lioulfr, to journey to the Estarcan westerlands to bring her home.
